We are doing our best to protect your personal data. In this document you will find all necessary information about the protection of your privacy: what kind of data we collect, how we use them, with whom we share them, which measures are implemented for their protection, as well as how you can control the processing or which rights you have at your disposal.

Which personal data we collect

While providing our services we collect the following data about you:

Data related to purchase

While you purchase our products or services we require the data necessary for setting-up your account and for arranging the purchase. Setting-up of the account is mandatory, as it is required for sharing any purchased content. The required data are strictly only those which are necessary for the actual purchase process and arranging access to the purchased content, such as user name, password, your name, e-mail address or e-mail addresses if the purchased content should be accessed by several persons, invoicing information, phone number and details of the order.

We do not collect any data related to your bank accounts or payments besides the information about the successful or unsuccessful payment, your name, account number and other payment information, which allow us to identify whether your payment has been made.

Newsletters

If you give us your consent, we will store and use your e-mail address also to send you our newsletters from time to time.

Data collected while using our services

If you use our products or services we also collect data about the way how you use them. These data are information about your interactions with our services, such as when you access our website, what do you search for, when you create your account and when you access the account, as well as the presentations or digital content.

We also store your reviews of our services, testimonials or commentaries.

We also collect information about the devices and computers you are using to access our services, including IP addresses, browser settings, information about operating systems or your mobile devices, information about the website you used to access our website and information from cookies or similar tools.

How we use your personal data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

Provision of our services

Based on the data we have collected we can supply you our products and services in accordance with our General Business Terms and Conditions[PK1] . Data collected within the order process are used to handle your order and contract. We need to store this data also for the purposes of our accounting and invoicing system.

The data and information collected during the provision of our services and after the login in the account serves also to ensure that your account is operational, and that the information and materials you can access through the account are correct.

Our mutual communication

We use your contact details to send you notifications related to the processing of your orders and provision of our products and services or if we want to respond to your communication. We also process your contact information and purchase details in case you complain about the supplied products or services.

If you gave us consent or did not refuse sending of commercial communication within the ordering process, we may also send to you at your e-mail address commercial information about our services and current offers that might be of interest to you. You can easily cancel sending this information and newsletters by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” option in each e-mail.

Improvement and personalization of our services and marketing

We use the stored data also to improve and personalize our services, as well as marketing. For instance we may use your purchase history to recommend to you other products and services which might be interesting to you, or to show you content relevant for you.

Information about your visits and movement on our website and its sections and shown products may be used for advertising and marketing purposes, at our, as well as other websites. This information may be used also for analytical purposes so that we can properly understand how our website is used and make it more intuitive and user friendly.

Legal proceedings and requirements

Your data are also used to ensure the security of the provided services, to defend ourselves against claims raised against us, in proceedings before state or other regulatory authorities and to enforce our claims.

Grounds for processing

We collect and use personal data only where we have one or more lawful grounds for doing so.

  1. To fulfil our contractual obligations in case you order our products or services.
  2. Consent in case of sending newsletters and other commercial communication. Each granted consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time by sending us an e-mail to the following e-mail address: info@go2lawtrain.sk.
  3. To fulfil our legal obligations – by storing data about you and your order in our accounting system or disclosing data to state or other authorities performing oversight over our activities, handling disputes or enforcing issued decisions.
  4. Our legitimate interests in case of improving and personalizing our services, certain marketing activities (such as sending newsletters or other commercial communication, when you did not refuse it in the ordering process) or in the case of ensuring the security of the provided services and protection of our rights and legally protected interests. In these situations we always carefully assess whether the associated processing will not constitute an inadequate interference in your rights. To whom we disclose the personal data

We do not publish, disclose or otherwise make available your personal data with the exception of the following situations:

If you require us to do so

We do not publish or disclose your personal data, unless you require such processing from us or you specifically agree with it. Publishing occurs, when you use community functions of our website and you submit a review or commentary for publishing or in case of testimonials when you agree with publishing them at our website or through other marketing tools and at social media platforms included but not limited to LinkedIn.

In cases of external processing

Your personal data may be also available to our suppliers, who are processing them on our behalf as processors based on our instructions and in accordance with this document. They follow all required security, technical and organizational measures so that your personal data are protected.

We may also work with partners who provide us with analytical and advertising services. These services allow us to better understand how our website is used, place our advertising on the internet and measure its effectiveness.

For legal reasons or in the event of a dispute

We may also store your personal data and disclose them to other parties to meet our obligations resulting from legal rules, requests of state or other authorities, to raise our claims or to defend ourselves in proceedings, where claims were raised against us.

This category of third parties includes courts, state and other authorities overseeing our activities, handling dispute resolution or enforcement of decisions, as well as our legal and tax advisors and auditors.

Transfer to third countries

We do not actively transfer your personal data outside of the European Union, unless you agree with it, such as in case of testimonials, which we may publish with your consent at LinkedIn. Some of our partners however may perform such transfers fully in line with the applicable legal regulations. How we protect your personal data

We work really hard to ensure that your personal data are safe. In accordance with the applicable legal regulations we implemented security, technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Digital data are stored in a protected database, which is located on a server owned or reserved for our company. We protect this database before damage, destruction, loss or misuse. How long we retain your personal data

Personal data related to the user account are retained for as long as the account is active, since they are necessary for operation of the account. Personal data related to purchase or service agreements are generally retained for a necessary period, which is usually three and a half years after the order is delivered, however certain personal data associated with the purchase or service agreements may be retained also for a longer period of time defined by the applicable laws if required for accounting or audit purposes.

If we use your contact details for sending commercial communication or in other situations, where consent is the legal ground of processing, we retain your personal data (i.e. contact details) until the consent is revoked.

In those situations, when we process your personal data on the legal ground of legitimate interests as described in chapters How we use your personal data  and To whom we disclose the personal data, we store the personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose in question.

Please be informed that even if the retention of personal data is no longer necessary for a certain purpose, that does not automatically mean that we delete your personal data. The personal data may and sometimes must be retained for a different purpose with other legal grounds.

What rights do you have

There are several rights you have at your disposal as a result of the processing of your personal data.

If you send us any data request we will inform you about any action taken on your request within one month of receipt of the request. That period may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests. We will inform you of any such extension within one month of the receipt of the request, together with the reasons for the delay.

What may be included in a data request 

Request to access data: You can ask for an explanation of the data we collect and how we use it.

Request to receive data: You can request copy of data that we collect from you with your consent or to provide our services.

Request to change or update data: You can ask us to change or update any data, if such data is inaccurate or incomplete.

Request to delete data: You can ask us to erase your data if certain grounds defined by the applicable law are met, especially if the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed or if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal ground for the processing of them.

Objections, restrictions, and complaints: You can request that we stop using all or some of your personal data, or that we limit our use of your data. We however may continue to process data after such objection or request to the extent required or permitted by law.

How to file a data request

You may file a data request by sending us an e-mail or written request to our contact details stated in the chapter Who are we and where can you reach us.

Please include in your request your name, surname, e-mail address or your address of residence. If you will not provide us with this information, we cannot process your request. This information is necessary to properly identify you so that we do not disclose your personal data to an unauthorized party.

Filing of complaints

If you think that our processing of your personal data infringes the applicable legal regulations you may file a complaint with our supervisory authority – Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).
